WHY DO MY RADIATORS HAVE COLD AREAS?

bullet

If your radiator is cold at the top and hot at the bottom, this generally indicates that air is trapped at the top of your radiator. Bleeding the radiators to release the air is a simple procedure, which may resolve this problem quickly. However, if this problem persists, we recommend you have your central heating checked by us.

If your radiator is cold at the bottom and hot on the top, this usually indicates sludge build up in the bottom of the radiator. To remedy this problem we recommend you seek professional advice to identify the cause of the sludge first. This problem is generally resolved by power flushing the system to eliminate unwanted debris.
